The Continuum Concept Tour

Well, the flyers are through for the tour and they look just fab. Great that they're printed using veggie ink too! Still can't believe that we're going to be having one of our 'heroes' staying in our house! Word seems to be spreading through all the continuum, sling, parenting and other related networks -  people are being really wonderful by offering to hand out flyers to groups, friends etc. If you're reading this and could distribute some flyers to people who'd be interested, do let us know.

We really want to make sure that anyone who might be interested in hearing Jean speak, will have found out about it. As a small, (but beautifully formed!), family partnership we ain't got the bucks to plough into endless national advertising. We're going to have to let the Universe take care of that for us!

Seems to be doing a pretty good job so far...

Can waste be sexy?

Well, spent yesterday facilitating an event which involved 6 chappies of considerable IQ levels talking rubbish. Bloody brilliant.

No really, it was. Why? Well these guys really care about the future and they've got the combined brain power to be able to make a considerable difference. 3 PhDs between them and a shed-load of wisdom as well as knowledge.

A step out of my usual world as well, which is always good. The Art of Change is about embracing change in every area of life - and waste is one where we badly need to change.

It's not a 'sexy' subject - rather like old people aren't either - but boy do we need to make it one for the sake of the generations to come. Helping these clever bods to communicate with each other was my contribution towards enabling the change to happen...

So, if you need to know about LCA, LATS, MCDA or GMS, I'm now your man...well, sort of , I mean, I know a man (or 6) that can...

The magical journey continues

Well here I am posting the first blog on our new website designed by the amazing Nina Richards. Committing to this new site has been a major investment for us, but already I can see the benefits - clarity, simplicity and lots of white space!!!

Building, updating and creating the old site has been quite a challenge for me and it has been wonderful that it has served us as well it has - but The Art of Change is growing rapidly now as an ever increasing number of people are searching for more natural and holistic ways to live their lives.

We have been delighted over the last year to help steer The Mother magazine into much calmer waters and this success has brought many new friends into our lives. We are now looking forward to an exciting 2008 which will see us helping to spread the word about Veronika's new book 'The Drinks Are On Me' and for the first time we will really be getting into promoting live events.

This will start with a talk by Veronika in Bristol in Jan (see 'events' for details) and will be followed by Jean Liedloff's UK tour in April. Jean wrote The Continuum Concept and has not been back to the UK for nearly 20 years - we feel honoured to have such a great opportunity.

Oh well, time to go and cook sunday lunch...

Have fun

Barry
